The latest generation of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is the next evolution of the iconic model. Porsche didn’t opt for a risky revolution, opting to keep the 911’s classic elements while improving the familiar design in many respects.

Technical parameters

The GTS variants are focused primarily on pure driving pleasure. Porsche has taken care of this by carefully selecting the standard configuration of the GTS version. On board, you’ll find the Sport Chrono Package with drive mode switch, GT sports steering wheel, adjustable Sport Plus seats, tire temperature display or modified PASM suspension (further lowered by 10 mm). The car’s brakes, on the other hand, come from the 911 Turbo version. Interestingly, the GTS variant has limited interior insulation, which benefits the acoustic experience while driving.

In the case of this Porsche model, our rental car is equipped with a 541 hp engine and PDK transmission, which allows acceleration in 3.0s to 100km/h. In addition, our copy is richly equipped and distinguishes itself from other cars by the presence of an aerodynamic package (which is not difficult to notice – it includes a substantial rear spoiler). Combined with black paint, which is strongly associated with models of the series GT3, it looks very aggressive and sporty.

The vehicle’s interior is superbly crafted, at a level typical of the Stuttgart-based brand. The low position behind the wheel provides a great feel for the car when driving fast. The 911’s cabin features a number of elements (such as the center seat panels, armrests and steering wheel) covered in Race-Tex microfiber, which perfectly match the sporty character of the GTS version.

The car also comes with a Sport Design package. It characteristically modifies the front and rear beltline, as well as the sill covers. The headlight surrounds (we get PDLS Plus headlights as standard) are tinted, which is also a traditional “treatment” for GTS variants. In addition, aboard our copy you will find: a power tilt sunroof, a very useful front axle lift system, extremely comfortable adaptive Sport Plus seats with 18-way electric adjustment and setting memory package, heated seats, a heated GT sports steering wheel, BOSE sound system and many other extras that make the driving experience in this car, the highest possible level.

The Porsche 911 version 4 GTS is the perfect combination of “civilian” models and “track” ones such as the GT3. The right combination of options gives the car an extra sporty flair.
