McLaren is still a heavily exotic sight on our roads. Sporty models from other brands, which have been on the market for many years, do not arouse as much excitement. McLaren does not have a long market tenure. However, the cars look very modern and spectacular, and they build this up mainly with the silhouette itself – you won’t find monstrous spoilers here like in other competing designs. The 570GT in McLaren’s range strengthens the Sports Series vehicle category by being a proposition that offers additional everyday utility.

McLaren’s range is constantly expanding. The 570GT is the equivalent of the 570S, only more suited to everyday tasks. We also see this from the outside of the vehicle.
GT has a more streamlined rear end with a long glass window – so it has additional cargo space that the “S” model does not offer. In addition, shock absorber stiffness has been reduced by 15% at the front and 10% at the rear. The shock absorbers are adaptive, and can be adjusted in three modes – normal, sport and track. The steering has also been mildly modified relative to the “S” in a way that makes daily driving easier.
The GT shares with the rest of the Sports Series representatives the MonoCell II carbon frame design (made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber) pioneered in the 570S. This unique solution greatly increases the rigidity of the car and reduces its weight – the 570 GT weighs only 1,350 kg.

McLaren offers many of its typical features, such as upward-lifting doors and an extremely minimalist cockpit, which is boarded by crossing a wide and high “threshold” that is part of the body (reduced in the 570 GT version anyway for improved boarding comfort). This makes us feel decidedly “wrapped” in the car. The steering wheel, devoid of all buttons, allows you to focus fully on driving. Beautifully integrated into the interior, the Bowers&Wilkins sound system with 12 speakers will make longer trips more enjoyable, where this car feels perfectly at home. Under the hood you’ll find a twin-turbocharged V8, which has a displacement of 3.8L with 570 horsepower. This type of engine has 600 Nm of torque for excellent performance on the track, everyday driving also allows the driver to have great dynamics. The atmosphere in the interior will also be made more pleasant by the long panoramic roof. Opposite the driver is a very clear display with all the most important information the driver needs. The screens allow you to control many of the vehicle’s functions, as well as customize settings to suit the driver’s individual preferences.
