Widened body, 19-inch wheels, aggressive lines and extended exhaust tips. At first glance, we already know that this car is a real road “killer”. Add to this the brilliant sound of the unique unit that is the 2.5-liter turbocharged, five-cylinder engine with 400 horsepower, and we can be sure that the time spent with the car will be full of wild emotions. The Audi RS3 in its current version on a par with the Mercedes A45s holds the title of the most powerful and fastest hot-hatch on the market. However, it was the Ingolstadt-based manufacturer that was the first on the market to release a representative of this class offering 400 horsepower.
The current version has gained an additional 20 Nm and now offers an equal 500 Nm. The RS3 In its latest iteration shows less understeer than its predecessor. Also in line with current market trends, the car offers the RS Torque Rear system, which is the ability to disconnect the front drive. It gives us the feel of a rear-wheel drive car (although it must be said that even in normal mode the car has clearly taken on more rear-wheel drive characteristics). The German brand is known for perfectly blending the world of performance and everyday usability. The RS3 is no exception.
This is an example of a truly sporty car that will work well as a “daily car” and offer many extras to make driving more enjoyable. On board our copy in Tango red (no longer available to order) you’ll find dual-zone climate control, heated seats, wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, a Bang&Olufsen sound system and a panoramic glass roof, among other features . Of the more important options, the car also has adaptive suspension, 360-degree cameras with surround view and MatrixLED headlights.This exceptionally sleek sedan with the “RS” badge accelerates to 100 in 3.8 seconds, rivaling sports cars from higher segments. The quattro 4-wheel drive, on the other hand, ensures stability and comfort when driving in even the worst conditions.
