The return of the legendary BMW 8 Series came 20 years after production of the original version with the E31 model designation ended. The model’s assumptions have not changed. It’s still an excellent GT for traveling longer distances in luxury. True, we no longer have a V12 engine on board, but thanks to the V8 twin turbo design, this car catapults to 100 almost twice as fast as the then top-of-the-line 850CSiversion….
The unit used to drive the M850i is identical to that in the top version of the M8 Competition, which means that we have the same torque value in both models(it’s up to 750Nm)! It’s worth remembering that the M850i came on the market before the biggest tightening of emissions regulations and exhaust systems, so we can fully enjoy the V8 sound!
The car is definitely not the lightest (it weighs almost 2 tons) or the smallest (it’s less than 5 meters long), but it turns with the brand’s typical confidence and agility – thanks in large part to the four-wheel steering
The BMW M850i is in high demand among others. thanks to its beautiful exterior design and its now legendary ancestor, the E31. It guarantees rich equipment, amazing performance, very high travel comfort and the highest level of safety. It is currently the main rival to the model Mercedes Benz AMG S63 Coupé.
