The BMW M5 with the F90 designation has become a decidedly more versatile car. This is mainly due to the four-wheel drive present on board for the first time. Does this mean that the M5 has lost its soul and broken with tradition? By no means! The car has a decidedly rear-wheel drive characteristic, and at any time, the front drive can be disconnected… However, we should not do in the first days of getting acquainted with the vehicle 🙂
BMW M5 Competition in numbers is: 625hp, 750Nm and 3.3 seconds to 100km/h. Acceleration in this sizable sports sedan is at a level close to that of the Porsche 911 Turbo S. To achieve such results, four-wheel drive is essential. There are three drive types to choose from. As always with M models, we have the option to customize: engine operation, transmission, suspension, steering and exhaust (our unit has an optional sport exhaust system). Of course, we can select everything independently, and save our favorite configurations under the “M1″ and M2” buttons.
Our copy is a polifted version, which you’ll recognize primarily by the changes to the front of the vehicle and the new 3D-effect rear lamps. The car looks more aggressive thanks to, among other things. reshaped headlights and larger air intakes for more efficient engine cooling. Inside, you’ll find an updated multimedia system that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play wirelessly. What’s more, our configuration includes the “Competition” package, which increases power by 25 horsepower, provides a sport exhaust system as standard, and provides more precise steering, thanks to, among other things. stiffer engine cushions.
The BMW M5 has become a car that will perform in any task. It guarantees plenty of space inside, very rich equipment, amazing performance, high travel comfort and safety. It has become a competitive proposition for those who prefer four-wheel drive and opt for Audi (Quattro) or Mercedes (4-Matic). At the same time, it hasn’t lost the typical BMW claw, retaining its best features that have made the M5 a cult car for many years.
