The first-generation BMW X6 hit the market in 2007. being the brand’s first-ever SUV coupe, while becoming a forerunner in the segment. The current third generation, designated G06, has been in production since 2019. It competes with models such as the Audi Q8, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and Porsche Cayenne Coupe. Compared to the previous generation, the Munich-based manufacturer has not opted for radical changes. And no wonder – the X6 has been a big sales success for BMW so to “upsell” the model would be an unnecessary risk. The car is, of course, based on the X5 platform.

The BMW X6, designated 40d, has a 6-cylinder diesel engine with 340 hp and 700 Nm of torque, which is more than enough and guarantees more than satisfactory dynamics. Safety on any road surface is guaranteed by the xDrive with active torque distribution between the axles and between the wheels of the rear axle. Suspension with dynamic shock control provides adequate comfort. Our unit is equipped with optional 22-inch wheels, which emphasize the muscularity of the silhouette, especially when combined with the M aerodynamics package. Inside, you’ll find, among other things. Two 12.3-inch Live Cockpit screens and ambient lighting. Very rich accessories will make our every trip more enjoyable. BMW X6 40d version combines the most important features of a premium SUV. It is luxurious, comfortable, fast and perfectly soundproofed. They feature a very modern and sleek coupe silhouette. However, the truncated roof does not interfere too much with the practicality known from the X5. The Munich-based model, despite its weight (nearly 2,200 kg!), stands out from the competition with the brand’s typical precise handling.
