The Mercedes GLS is the largest of the modern SUVs with a “star” on the hood. It’s a model that aims to be an even more comfortable proposition than the previously introduced iconic G Class. While it’s true that passenger cars and the C-Class are the most common in our country, the higher-end Mercedes Benz definitely reigns in our rental business. It has a properly tuned suspension. This does not mean that it lacks sportiness! Our new car is powered by a powerful 3.0-liter diesel unit that generates 367 horsepower. Torque is transferred to all four wheels via the 4MATIC drive and 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, and it takes just 6.1 seconds to accelerate this huge SUV to 100 km/h. Despite its sizable power, the Mercedes GLS 450d 4Matic has relatively low fuel consumption. In the combined cycle, the car burns less than 9 liters per 100 kilometers. The reduction in fuel consumption for the GLS-Class was made possible by the use of a small electric assist unit with a power output of about 20 hp.

The counterpart to the legendary S-Class in the SUV range is more than power. In this car, comfort and omnipresent luxury play the first fiddle. Inside the body (5.2 meters long) as many as seven seats are prepared. The front seats are extremely comfortable. They have electrically adjustable parameters with memory settings, and for heating and ventilation functions. Your thermal comfort is also taken care of by the THERMOTRONIC automatic air conditioning system . The interior is also effectively protected from the sun thanks to laminated glass with thermal insulation, and soundproofing is enhanced by an acoustic layer. The luxury of the car’s interior is highlighted by ambient lighting, leather upholstery, chrome interior trim and the AMG visual package. There is also a lot of space in the second row of seats. The GLS takes care of the driver in every way. Sitting behind the leather multifunction steering wheel is an extensive suite of assists that make driving significantly easier. The SUV is equipped with lane-keeping systems, adaptive cruise control, blind spot assist, a 360° camera and parking sensors. Operation of the car is enabled by a wide-screen cockpit, which combines the screens of the on-board computer and multimedia system (which has enhanced MBUX functions). An interesting system is the virtual hood – it allows you to see what’s in front of the hood, under any conditions!
