The latest generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 (992) is the next evolution of the iconic model. Porsche didn’t opt for a risky revolution, opting to keep the 911’s classic elements while improving the familiar design in many respects. Although on “paper” the latest generation GT3 is not very different from the previous one, there are many differences in favor of the 992. This is confirmed by the excellent times obtained on race tracks, much better than its predecessor and competitors.

One of the biggest differentiators of the GT3 was the 4-liter naturally aspirated engine derived from motorsport spinning up to 9,000/rev and the current generation is no different! There are two transmission options to choose from – a manual transmission and the excellent PDK transmission, which is even faster than before. In our copy, we relied on the proven PDK automatic transmission. For the 992, the German manufacturer has focused very much on improving aerodynamics even more. On board you’ll find a “smart” front splitter that adjusts in four planes, an aerodynamically built chassis, a great-looking differential and a huge rear spoiler. The swan-neck rear wing is manually controlled, also in four positions. Such a solution helps efficient airflow under the spoiler. All of the aforementioned elements, along with the car’s superior body, mean that the new model has improved downforce at 200 km/h by 150% over the previous generation.

However, our copy also has extras to make daily driving easier. These are systems such as the front axle lift system, which we also have on our Lamborghini Huracan Evo. The PDK transmission also performs well in everyday driving. The car is also equipped with a rear-view camera, parking sensors or the matrix-beam headlights and Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus(PDLS Plus in Porsche nomenclature), which are great for driving after dark. In addition, on board you’ll find a BOSE Surround Sound System sound system, auto-dimming mirrors, a rain sensor or fully bucket seats, which also prove comfortable on longer trips. In the interior, you’ll also find a Light Design Package offering additional ambient lighting for the door storage compartments and center console. Of the options that make the GT3 even sportier, the clubsport package was chosen, adding a safety cage in place of the rear bench seat and bucket seats also known from the famous 918 model.

The GT3 is already a legendary car. In each generation, it shows its superiority not only over its predecessors, but also over its competitors. Superiority proves not only by obtaining sensational times on tracks around the world, but also by the fact that it is virtually impossible to find a car fan who does not dream of this very car. When we think of a car that has been vividly transferred from race tracks to road use, we think of the 911 GT3. What further distinguishes the GT3 is that it does not prove its potential by significantly increasing engine power from generation to generation -. The GT3 is true to its long-standing premise and is expected to excel primarily in very fast cornering and to enjoy the amazing performance and sound of the 4-liter engine.
