Maserati unveiled the GranTurismo model in 2007 at the Geneva show. Since then, the car has undergone several major and minor upgrades, while retaining its original design and style. Despite the passage of years, it is still Maserati’s most recognizable model, popular among car fans and arousing curiosity on the streets.

Two power units were offered in the GranTurismo. In the basic variety, it was a 4.2-liter V8 with 405 horsepower, while in the described S version, a 4.7-liter V8 featuring the following -. 440 hp and 490 Nm. The car drives very confidently, and the steering is extremely precise for a car in this class. Interestingly, the design shares many components with another Italian representative of the GT class – the Ferrari 599 GTB. It is also worth mentioning that the famous Pininfarina design studio was responsible for the exterior design.

The sound of the engine provides a lot of pleasure when “cranking” it to the revs, and at the same time it does not tire during long journeys. Maserati has “gone” in a completely different direction from competing models such as the Porsche 911, Lexus LC500 and the BMW M6 , which was produced until recently, when developing this elegant 4-seater GT-class car. More than improving performance, Maserati focused on creating a sports car with an exclusive vibe that gives the driver the feeling of driving something truly special. Additional charm is provided by the fact that it is rare to encounter a second GranTurismo on the roads.
