Porsche Macan GTS – in this version is it more of a sports car or a family car? It’s hard to answer this question unequivocally, but in our opinion it perfectly combines both worlds. What’s more, it’s now the most powerful Macan in the Porsche palette, with an increase of as much as 60 hp over the pre-facelift version.

GTS, or Gran Turismo Sport in Porsche nomenclature, stands for a version focused on providing the driver with as much excitement as possible. The Macan GTS is no different. While every Porsche, including the entry-level Macan aims for the best possible performance and handling precision, the Macan GTS makes a huge leap over the standard version. For many, it is the best handling SUV available on the market, often compared to the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio or BMW X3 M Competition.

Our copy is the version after the second facelift. The exterior has been gently improved, but the biggest change has been in the interior of the vehicle. The classic buttons on the center console have been replaced by a touch panel. The steering wheel now is identical to the 911 model. Changes have also been made to the chassis and steering, resulting in better handling. Standard on the GTS version we now get an air suspension, which has been further lowered and stiffened. Our Macan has been retrofitted with a host of desirable extras, including a panoramic roof, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (variable torque distribution between the rear wheels), Sport Chrono package, adaptive sport seats with 18-way adjustment, heating and ventilation, and BOSE® Surround Sound System sound system

The Porsche Macan GTS version has now become the most powerful representative of this model. With its increased power, stiffer suspension and refined steering, the GTS will convince even those who are not fans of sports SUVs.
