The Renault Megane R.S. Ultime is a collector’s version limited to 1976 units, finalizing the history of the Renault Sport division. Based on the Trophy model, it features a 1.8 TCe engine with 300 hp and 420 Nm of torque. It features unique graphics, a matte black package and the signature of test driver Laurent Hurgeon

The Ultimate variant also differentiates itself from the “basic” version with more than just an increased engine output of 300 hp and an increase in torque. Interestingly, the variant with a manual transmission offers 400 Nm, while the version with a dual-clutch transmission (which we have on offer) has as much as 420 Nm, providing dynamic performance. This translates into better flexibility than, for example, in the more powerful AMG A35. The Ultimate also features a revised exhaust system that delivers loud gunfire while driving, even at low revs. The Ford Focus RS and Hyundai I30n may feel threatened in this field.

The Ultimate version also gets a four-wheel torsion system and a high-performance Cup suspension (stiffer stabilizers , firmer shocks and springs) as standard. The whole thing is complemented by fantastic Recaro seats covered with alcantara, which will also do the job during ordinary driving.
