Unlike the BMW M5, the X5M does not have the option of disconnecting the front axle and leaving the drive solely to the rear. However, BMW has equipped the X5M with a “4WD Sport” mode, in which the advantage of rear-drive is clearly felt. Few elements remain in common compared to the standard BMW X5M. The manufacturer has retrofitted the sportiest version of the model with reinforced engine mounts and suspension. In addition, adaptive dampers with roll control will be on board. The cooling system has also been improved. As always with M models, we have the option to customize: engine operation, transmission, suspension, steering and exhaust (our unit has an optional sport exhaust system). Of course, we can select everything independently, and save our favorite configurations under the “M1″ and M2” buttons.

Our configuration includes the “Competition” package, which increases horsepower by 25 hp, provides a sport exhaust system as standard, and provides more precise steering, thanks to, among other things. stiffer engine cushions. This very well-equipped specimen also has panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated seats (and even a massage function), laser lights, Harman&Kardon sound system and M Driver package. The list of add-ons is really long and impressive.
