Porsche Macan GTS – in this version is it more of a sports car or a family car? It’s hard to answer this question unequivocally, but in our opinion it perfectly combines both worlds. What’s more, it’s now the most powerful Macan in the Porsche palette, with an increase of as much as 60 hp over the pre-facelift version. In addition, it is the culmination of an era – it is the last Macan GTS in gasoline version!

The latest incarnation of the Macan will now be exclusively available in electric versions. GTS, or Gran Turismo Sport in Porsche nomenclature, stands for a version focused on providing the driver with as much excitement as possible. The Macan GTS is no different. While every Porsche, including the entry-level Macan aims for the best possible performance and handling precision, the Macan GTS makes a huge leap over the standard version. For many, it is the best handling SUV available on the market, often compared to the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio or BMW X3 M Competition.

Our copy is the version after the second facelift. The exterior has been gently improved, but the biggest change has been in the interior of the vehicle. The classic buttons on the center console have been replaced by a touch panel. The steering wheel now is identical to the 911 model. Changes have also been made to the chassis and steering, resulting in better handling. Standard on the GTS version we now get an air suspension, which has been further lowered and stiffened. Our Macan has been retrofitted with many desirable extras , such as a panoramic roof, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (variable torque distribution between the rear wheels), Sport Chrono package, adaptive sport seats with 18-way adjustment, heating and ventilation, and BOSE® Surround Sound System. Some of the listed options are included in the GTS Sport package. This package additionally adds more sporty touches. Character is added by finishing the interior with carbon fiber and Race-Tex material elements. The GT Sport steering wheel fits perfectly in the hands and is additionally heated, which makes all journeys on colder days more pleasant.

The green stitching consistent with the body color also attracts attention. An additional distinguishing feature of this extensive package is the multitude of SportDesign style exterior elements painted in “Satin Black“, which perfectly contrast with the green paint. An interesting feature is the optional Porsche Surface Coated Brake system, which combines a traditional brake disc with ceramic coating elements. This makes the discs more resistant to corrosion caused by prolonged car downtime and to brake dust. Thus, both the brake discs and the rims stay clean longer! Other options that make driving the Macan more enjoyable include 360-degree cameras, comfort access and PDLS Plus (Porsche Dynamic Light System) headlights, which are especially useful at night. Porsche Macan in GTS version has now become the most powerful representative of this model. With its increased power, stiffer suspension and refined steering, the GTS will convince even those who are not fans of sports SUVs. The Macan captivates with its precise handling, and when driving fast, it feels like a real sports car. With all this, it did not lose the practical features, a family car.
